Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU) and St.Petersburg State budgetary institution “Lensvet” have signed a cooperation agreement about the creation of the “Innovation Development Testing Centre SPbPU – Lensvet”. Acting as a new structural subdivision of the university, the centre will test innovative lighting solutions developed as part of the LUCIA project.

SPbPU’s participation in the project means that very soon 22 modern lamps with smart energy-efficient lighting solutions will be installed in a park on the SPbPU campus in St. Petersburg.

SPbPU and Lensvet are cooperating in creating and jointly testing energy-efficient outdoor lighting based on modern materials and intelligent control systems.
